Where We Ship

Three markets, quoted on your terms

TailMont manufactures in Bengaluru and exports to the Netherlands, the United States and the United Kingdom. Those are the three markets we know inside out — the ports we quote, the customs paperwork we prepare and the labelling rules we build into the garment.

Below is what shipping to each one actually looks like: who we supply, how freight moves, what the labels have to say, and what it costs to quote. If you are somewhere else, tell us where and we will say plainly whether we can reach you.

Netherlands Rotterdam and Amsterdam, on FOB, CIF or DDP
Who buys from us Wholesalers, chain-store groups, promotional-product agencies and fast-fashion labels who buy on specification and sell on in-store.
How it ships Sea freight is the default — roughly 4 to 6 weeks from Nhava Sheva to Rotterdam — with air freight available when a launch date will not wait. We quote FOB for your own forwarder, CIF Rotterdam or Amsterdam, or DDP straight to your warehouse.
Duty, VAT & customs Import VAT and duty are shown as separate lines on the quotation rather than buried in the unit price, so you can see the landed cost. Country-of-origin marking is stated on the labels and the commercial invoice, and we can supply the certificate of origin your customs broker asks for.
Labelling EU textile labelling: fibre composition, care instructions, manufacturer and country of origin on a permanent sewn-in label, in the language your market requires.
Lead time Sample 7–14 days · Bulk 30–60 days
How we quote into this market Quoted FOB, CIF Rotterdam or Amsterdam, or DDP to your warehouse — with duty and import VAT shown as separate lines rather than buried in the unit price.
United States New York and Los Angeles, on FOB or CIF
Who buys from us Licensed importers, distributors, apparel brands, screen-printing houses and promotional-product suppliers who need country-of-origin marking and reliable carton-level packing.
How it ships Ocean to the East or West Coast, with air freight for replenishment and sample shipments. We quote FOB for your own forwarder, or CIF New York or Los Angeles on your nominated carrier.
Duty, VAT & customs Country-of-origin marking is stated on the sewn-in labels and on the commercial invoice, Section 301 tariff classification is quoted on the request, and we provide the packing list and bill of lading your broker needs for entry.
Labelling Fiber content, country of origin, care instructions and your brand identity, with RN numbers and retail labelling where your programme requires them.
Lead time Sample 7–14 days · Bulk 30–60 days
How we quote into this market Quoted FOB for your own forwarder, or CIF New York or Los Angeles, with country-of-origin marking stated on the labels and the commercial invoice.
United Kingdom Felixstowe and London, on FOB, CIF or DDP
Who buys from us UK importers, online fashion retailers, merchandising companies and workwear and uniform suppliers buying for multi-season programmes.
How it ships Sea freight to Felixstowe or London Gateway, with air and air-freight options when a restock cannot wait. We quote FOB, CIF Felixstowe or London, or DDP delivered.
Duty, VAT & customs Country-of-origin marking for UK customs is stated on the labels and the commercial invoice. We prepare the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin, and can work with your UK agent or broker on the entry paperwork.
Labelling UK and EU textile labelling: fibre composition, care instructions, manufacturer and country of origin, plus barcode and size labelling for your distribution centre.
Lead time Sample 7–14 days · Bulk 30–60 days
How we quote into this market Quoted FOB, CIF Felixstowe or London, or DDP delivered, with country-of-origin marking for UK customs stated on the labels and the commercial invoice.
Incoterms

Four ways to take delivery, quoted in writing

Every quotation states which term it is priced on. The differences are not fine print — they decide who pays the freight, who carries the risk in transit and who settles the duty, so it is worth picking the right one.

EXW

Ex Works

The garment leaves our factory in Bengaluru and the buyer takes it from there. The cheapest on paper, and the one that leaves the most on you.

FOB

Free On Board

We load the container at the Indian port and hand it to your nominated carrier. The most common basis for buyers who already have a forwarder.

CIF

Cost, Insurance & Freight

We pay sea freight and insurance to the named port in your country, so you know the landed cost before the container sails. DDP takes it one step further.

DDP

Delivered Duty Paid

Delivered to your warehouse with duty and import VAT settled by us, quoted as separate lines so you can see exactly what landed cost means.

Export Paperwork

What we prepare, and when

The paperwork is the part a first-time importer discovers late. It is listed here up front, because knowing it is handled is worth more than a promise that everything is taken care of.

Commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading, prepared for your destination and Incoterm.
Certificate of origin, with the chamber attestation your broker needs.
Country-of-origin marking on the sewn-in labels and stated on the invoice.
Carton-level packing — barcoded, size- and colour-coded, palletised to your specification.
One named sales contact for the order, from quotation through to the container leaving.
Inspection and pre-shipment photos before loading, so nothing is discovered on arrival.
